Coverage*

Two levels of cover are now available for your clients:

Premium – Offering benefits for your clients who travel light, are predominantly domestic travellers, and are the more discerning traveller.

Elite – Offering all the new ‘additional’ benefits with loss of deposits cover (capped at $20k for private travel).

Risk appetite

We have a broad appetite and will consider most risks presented to us. Our preferred risks that typically don’t require referral to the underwriters include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Occupation classifications 1 -3 which are made up of less hazardous white and blue collar occupations. E.g, office and sales work, builders, greenkeepers
  • Travellers under seventy-five (75) years of age
  • Scheduled flights on commercial airlines (limited appetite for a high frequency of charter / non-scheduled flights)
  • Average number of trips – 150 for domestic and 100 for international
  • Average length of trip less than 20 days for both domestic and international trips

A+HPRO Group Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance

Cover for employees in the event of injury, sickness or accidental death.

Employers in all types of industries purchase this market leading Group Personal Accident & Sickness cover to protect against a loss caused by an accidental death, injury or sickness to its employees (or a single employee in the case of our Individual Personal Accident & Sickness cover).

This cover is usually provided as a contractual benefit to employees, however, a business can purchase this benefit so they are able to provide a range of payments and assistance in the event that the covered person is accidentally injured or killed.*

Benefits

  • Can be used to meet certain obligations for Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
  • Provides benefits to both the employer and employee
  • Single payment (flat amount, or multiple of salary) for death, loss of limbs/eyes, or permanent total disablement following an accidental event*

A+HPRO Individual Personal Accident & Sickness Insurance

Personal Accident Insurance provides cover for a serious accident, it provides a lump sum payout on eligible claims regardless of whether the injured person can return to work or not.

Even if a serious injury doesn’t stop the injured person from working again, it could have a huge impact on them and their family. For example, medical and other expenses, months without pay, and they may not be able to return to their previous occupation.

A+HPRO Journey Accident Insurance

Cover for employees commuting between home and work.

Journey Accident Insurance provides benefit payments when someone covered by the policy dies, becomes disabled or suffers from certain conditions while on a journey.

Business of all sizes are insuring their staff as they commute to and from work. This policy has been seen as a way to fill a gap that has been created by coverage exclusions in various State based Workers’ Compensation legislation, such as in NSW, SA,TAS, VIC and WA.

Risk appetite

Age limit to 85 year, however limitations apply from age 75.

A+HPRO Voluntary Workers Insurance

Offers cover to protect against certain losses sustained by volunteers providing services, without payment, to an educational, charitable or benevolent organisation.

Cover for our generous volunteers

Volunteers are selfless individuals who offer their time and effort to assist with worthy causes. As with all jobs, injury or death may unfortunately occur.

This type of policy offers a form of protection to volunteers while providing services, without payment, primarily to educational, charitable or benevolent organisation on behalf of the policyholder. Voluntary Workers Insurance can cover accidental death and disability, loss of income, emergency home help and medical expenses that are not covered by Medicare.

  • No general age exclusion, meaning a level of cover is available to people of all ages.
